Pavoukovci (Arachnida) jsou skupina bezobratlých živočichů z podkmene klepítkatců. Vědecké jméno vychází z řeckého άράχνη (arachné, pavouk) a váže se k mytologické postavě Arachné. Zahrnuje asi 73 000 zejména suchozemských druhů. Věda, která se zabývá pavoukovci, se nazývá arachnologie.
