Panzerkampfwagen III (resp. PzKpfw III či SdKfz 141) byl německý střední tank, vyráběný v letech 1939–1943. Celkem bylo vyrobeno asi 5650 strojů. Dosavadní tanky, tj. již vyráběný PzKpfw I a vyvíjený PzKpfw II, byly od začátku nahlíženy jako přechodné a zkušební typy.
