Obwalden (francouzsky Obwald, italsky Obvaldo, rétorománsky Sursilvania) je kanton ve Švýcarsku. Spolu s kantonem Nidwalden tvoří Unterwalden, jeden ze tří zakládajících členů Staré konfederace z roku 1291, z čehož pochází starší název Unterwalden ob dem Wald. Hlavním městem je Sarnen.
