NeXTSTEP

NeXTSTEP byl operační systém plně kompatibilní se systémem UNIX. Poprvé byl představen v říjnu 1988. NeXTSTEP verze 1.0 se dostal na trh 18. září 1989. Vyvinula jej firma NeXT Computer Inc., založená Stevem Jobsem. Původně byl určen pouze pro počítače NeXT s procesorem Motorola 68040, od roku 1993 byl vyvíjen pro PC s procesory Intel.
