Neomura

Neomura je navrhovaná vývojová větev, která zahrnuje domény archea a eukaryota. Příbuznosti těchto dvou skupin si všiml například Carl Woese již dříve, formálně však název ustanovil až Thomas Cavalier-Smith. Část vědců soudí, že se Neomura vyvinula z aktinobakterií, tedy složitých grampozitivních bakterií (viz také článek eukaryogeneze).
