Mersin

Mersin, dříve İçel, je přístavní město v jižním Turecku na pobřeží Středozemního moře západně od Adany. Má přibližně 895 565 obyvatel (2008) a je správním střediskem provincie Mersin, která do roku 2002 nesla jméno İçel. Mersinský přístav s 23 moly na ploše 78 ha a přilehlou bezcelní zónou je nejvýznamnější v celé jihovýchodní Anatolii.
