Merlot

Merlot (zkratka Me, název dle katalogu VIVC Merlot Noir, výslovnost ) je tradiční, velmi oblíbená, středně pozdní až pozdní moštová odrůda révy vinné (Vitis vinifera), určená k výrobě červených vín. Pochází patrně z francouzského regionu Bordeaux, kde vznikla spontánním křížením odrůd Magdeleine Noire des Charentes a Cabernet Franc.
