Levita (hebrejsky לֵוִי levi, plurál לויים levijim) je podle židovské tradice příslušník jednoho z 12 izraelských kmenů – kmene Levi. Levité jsou potomci Léviho – třetího syna patriarchy Jákoba. Původně byli vybráni, aby na poušti sloužili ve stanu úmluvy.
