Jedná se o určitý „národ skřítků“, který se (ostatně jako všichni skřítci) pojí v irské mytologii a folkloru s Lidem bohyně Dany (Tuatha Dé Danann) a jinými quasi-historickými národy, které údajně obývaly Irsko před příchodem Keltů.
