Lambert je mužské křestní jméno germánského původu. Vzniklo spojením slov land (země) a beraht (jasný, slavný), vykládá se tedy jako slavný svou vládou nad zemí. Podle českého kalendáře slaví svátek dne 17. září. Další varianty jména (které se však v Česku nevyskytují) jsou Lampert, Lamprecht a Lamberto.
