Nahodilost

Nahodilost, také kontingence, je ve filozofii a logice stav výroků, které nejsou pravdivé pod každým možným hodnocení (tj. tautologie) ani nepravdivé pod každým možným hodnocení (tj. kontradikce). Podmíněný návrh není ani nutně pravdivý, ani nutně nepravdivý. Je opakem nutnosti a časové vymezenosti (terminovanosti).
