Kochab (β Ursae Minoris, zkráceně β UMi) je druhá nejjasnější hvězda v souhvězdí Malého medvěda, hned po Polárce. Jde o oranžového obra spektrální třídy K4 III se zdánlivou hvězdnou velikostí 2,08.
