Kiritimati

Kiritimati (též Vánoční ostrov, anglicky Christmas Island) je atol v severní části Liniových ostrovů, součást Kiribati. Patří mezi největší atoly na světě podle rozlohy souše – ta činí přibližně 312 km², zatímco síť lagun má asi 328 km². Souš Kiritimati tvoří více než 70 % celkové rozlohy souše Kiribati. Obvod atolu je zhruba 150 km.
