Kaskáda

Kaskáda je stupňovitý vodopád či řada stupňovitých vodopádů, přirozených nebo umělých. Ve vodohospodářství je kaskáda soustava vodních přehrad nebo vyšších jezů využívající vodní energie (Vltavská vodní kaskáda), případně stupňovitá svodnice přelivu (přepadu) u nádržné hráze. Slovo má i další, přenesené významy.
