Freiberg (doslova: „svobodné horní město“) je velké okresní město v německé spolkové zemi Sasko, které leží na toku řeky Freiberská Mulda v podhůří Krušných hor asi v polovině cesty mezi Drážďany a Saskou Kamenicí.
