Dithiotreitol

Dithiotreitol (DTT, Clelandovo činidlo) je nízkomolekulární redukční činidlo. V redukované formě DTT má lineární podobu (viz obrázek vpravo), v oxidované formě vytváří šestičlennou cyklickou molekulu (viz dále v textu). Jméno pochází z čtyřuhlíkového cukru, treózy, od které je odvozen.
