Bosony (čteno bozony) jsou částice, které mají symetrickou vlnovou funkci a celočíselný spin. Jmenují se podle indického fyzika Šatendranátha Boseho (proto bývají někdy označovány jako Boseho částice). Bosony se chovají podle Boseho-Einsteinova rozdělení.
