Barbaloin, známý též pod názvem aloin, je antrachinonový glykosid, obsažený v latexu v listech některých druhů aloe, zejména aloe pravé (Aloe vera) a Aloe ferox. Po chemické stránce se jedná o C-glykosid hydroxyanthronu. Barbaloin má při vnitřním podání silně projímavé účinky.
