Feromon

Feromon (z řec pherein přenášet a hormōn stimulovat, vzrušit) je přírodní chemická látka, vytvářená organismem (rostlinou, živočichem, houbou) a šířená za účelem komunikace mezi dvěma nebo více příslušníky stejného druhu, nebo mezi druhy navzájem. Feromonem mohou být jednotlivé chemické sloučeniny, nebo směsi několika složek.
