Armaňak je nejstarším francouzským (pravděpodobně i nejstarším na světě) vinným destilátem (brandy) příbuzným koňaku. Původ tohoto nápoje je v Gaskoňsku v jihozápadní Francii na území Armagnacu na úpatí Pyrenejí. Armaňak je pálen jen jednou, takzvanou postupnou destilací.
